Do draft invoices affect billed amounts?

No. Draft invoices are editable and can be discarded without affecting billed totals. Only issued invoices affect how much of a booking has been billed. Voiding an issued invoice reverses that billed impact.

How is an invoice different from a quote?

Accepted Answer

Quotes are proposals before a booking exists. Invoices are financial documents after a booking exists. A quote can create a draft invoice after conversion to a booking, but a quote is never an invoice.

Does invoicing change inventory availability?

Accepted Answer

No. Inventory availability comes from booking allocations only. Generating, issuing, recording payments against, or canceling an invoice never changes stock availability.

Can one booking have more than one invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A booking can have multiple invoices, for example, a deposit now and the balance later, or separate invoices as the job evolves. Each invoice is generated from billables attached to the booking.

What does “record payment” mean?

Accepted Answer

Recording a payment means logging money received against an issued invoice, including the amount, payment method and date. Bundus then updates collected and outstanding balances on the booking and across your business.

Do contracts change invoice money?

Accepted Answer

No. Contracts manage agreements, signatures and audit history. They do not create invoices, record payments or change billed amounts. Invoicing remains a separate workflow attached to the same booking.

Is Invoices included in my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Booking-backed invoicing, payment recording, outstanding balance tracking and invoice reporting are included on Bundus plans, including the free trial. Security deposit workflows are available on Professional and Business plans.

Can I invoice services as well as rental items?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invoices can include rental inventory, service lines, fees and other billables attached to the booking. Bundus works for both hire businesses and any service businesses.
