2. Eligibility and account registration#
2.1. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.
2.2. To register, you must provide accurate information (business name, name, email, password, and optionally operating country and phone) and keep your Account up to date.
2.3. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and all activity under your Account. Notify us promptly at hello@usebundus.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.4. Each Account is associated with a single Business unless we expressly permit otherwise.
2.5. We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate Accounts where we reasonably believe information is false, misleading, or use would violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Description of the Services#
3.1. Bundus is an operational software for hire, rental, service, and event businesses. The Services help you:
- manage inventory, categories, rates, bundles, and services;
- maintain client records;
- create and manage dated bookings and allocations;
- detect inventory conflicts across date ranges;
- view bookings on a calendar and export calendar feeds;
- create quotes and generate, issue, and manage invoices linked to bookings;
- record payments against invoices;
- configure security deposits, fulfillment workflows, contracts, and performance insights (subject to your Subscription);
- publish a no-code Storefront tied to your catalogue and availability;
- receive storefront inquiries and booking requests from End Customers; and
- access dashboards, reports, and related tools on web and mobile.
3.2. What Bundus is not. The Services are not accounting software, tax compliance software, legal advice, a payment institution, or a consumer credit service. You remain solely responsible for tax, accounting, licensing, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
3.3. No commission on your bookings. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Bundus does not take a commission on amounts your End Customers pay you. Our revenue comes from Subscription fees for the Platform.
3.4. Changes to the Services. We may add, modify, or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces core functionality of a paid Subscription you rely on, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance and, where appropriate, offer a pro-rata remedy or plan adjustment.
4. Free trials, subscriptions, and billing#
4.1 Free trial
New Businesses may receive a time-limited free trial with access to Platform features. Trial duration and limits are described on our pricing page or in-product and may vary by promotion. Unless stated otherwise, no payment method is required to start a trial.
When a trial ends without an active paid Subscription, your Account may enter read-only mode: you can view Business Data but cannot create or materially update operational records until you subscribe.
4.2 Subscription plans
Paid Subscriptions (Starter, Professional, Business, and successor tiers) are offered on monthly or yearly billing cycles at prices shown on https://usebundus.com/pricing or in-product, which may vary by country or currency region.
4.3 Where to subscribe and manage billing
Bundus supports subscriptions through multiple channels. You may have only one active paid subscription per Business at a time.
| Channel | Subscribe | Manage or cancel |
|---|---|---|
| Web | Stripe Checkout at app.usebundus.com | Stripe Customer Portal (linked from Settings → Billing) |
| iOS Mobile App | Apple In-App Purchase | iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions |
| Android Mobile App | Google Play Billing | Google Play → Payments & subscriptions |
A subscription purchased on one channel unlocks the Services on all platforms through your Business account. You must manage billing (plan changes, cancellation, payment method updates) through the same channel where you subscribed. We do not migrate billing silently between Stripe, Apple, and Google.
If you already have an active paid subscription on one channel, we block starting a duplicate subscription on another channel.
4.4 Web billing (Stripe)
Web subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing on web, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers.
4.5 Mobile billing (Apple and Google)
Mobile subscription payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) through their respective in-app purchase systems. We use RevenueCat to validate receipts and sync subscription status to your Business account.
By subscribing in the Mobile App, you also agree to the applicable app store terms and payment policies. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Apple and Google handle refunds for mobile purchases under their policies; Bundus does not control app-store refund decisions.
Do not enable separate free trials in app stores if you have already used Bundus’s server-side trial for the same Business.
4.6 Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled through the billing channel described in Section 4.3 before renewal. On mobile, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless the store’s policy provides otherwise.
4.7 Price changes
We may change Subscription prices for future billing periods. We will give reasonable advance notice (typically at least 30 days) before price changes apply to your renewal. App-store price changes may also be managed by Apple or Google according to their rules.
4.8 Taxes
Stated prices may exclude VAT or other applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. You are responsible for taxes associated with your Subscription, excluding taxes based on our net income.
4.9 Failed payments
If payment fails, we may suspend write access or restrict features after reasonable notice until payment succeeds. For mobile subscriptions, billing issues are governed by Apple or Google grace-period rules as reflected in your subscription status.
4.10 Refunds
Web (Stripe): Refunds, where offered, are handled according to applicable consumer law and our reasonable review of your request. Contact hello@usebundus.com for billing disputes on web subscriptions.
Mobile (Apple / Google): Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google through their standard refund processes. We cannot issue app-store refunds directly.
Except where required by law, fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable when you cancel mid-period. Cancelling stops future renewals only.
4.11 Promotional access
We may grant complimentary or discounted access (for example, founding-user benefits). Such access is time-limited unless we agree otherwise in writing and converts to standard billing or read-only access when it expires.
5. Acceptable use#
5.1. You must use the Services lawfully, professionally, and only for legitimate business purposes.
5.2. You must not:
- violate applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
- upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorised access to the Platform, other Accounts, or our infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services except where permitted by law;
- resell, sublicense, or white-label the Platform without our written consent;
- use the Services to store or process special category personal data (as defined under UK GDPR) unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards, and we have agreed in writing where required;
- use the Services for unlawful discrimination, harassment, fraud, or deceptive practices;
- overload or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services; or
- misrepresent your identity, business, or affiliation.
5.3. We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.
6. Your Business Data and content#
6.1. Ownership. As between you and Bundus, you retain all rights in your Business Data. We do not claim ownership of your inventory, client records, bookings, quotes, invoices, logos, website copy, or other content you upload.
6.2. Licence to Bundus. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise use your Business Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This includes rendering your Storefront and delivering emails you trigger.
6.3. Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your Business Data and Storefront content.
6.4. End Customer relationship. Your relationship with End Customers is directly between you and them. Bundus is not a party to hire, rental, or service contracts between you and your Customers. You are the merchant of record for your commercial transactions unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific integrated payment feature.
6.5. Backups and export. We maintain operational backups. You should maintain your own backups of critical Business Data. Export options and post-termination retention are described in Section 17 and our Privacy Policy.
7. Storefronts, inquiries, and booking requests#
7.1. Subject to your Subscription, you may publish a Storefront showing catalogue items, services, and content you configure.
7.2. You must ensure catalogue information, pricing, and availability on your Storefront are accurate.
7.3. When an End Customer submits an inquiry or booking request, we collect the information they provide on your behalf. You are responsible for responding to End Customers and for your own privacy notices and commercial terms with them.
7.4. If you connect a custom domain, you are responsible for DNS configuration and domain registration.
7.5. Depending on your Subscription, Bundus branding may appear on Storefronts or invoice PDFs. Higher-tier plans may allow removal where we offer that feature.
8. Payments and financial features#
8.1. Bundus allows you to record payments against invoices. Recording a payment in Bundus does not itself move money unless an integrated processor explicitly does so.
8.2. Third-party payment processors’ terms apply to payment flows they handle. Bundus is not a bank, e-money institution, or payment services provider unless we expressly state otherwise in a separate agreement.
8.3. Security deposit features help you track deposits operationally. You remain responsible for applicable consumer protection and refund laws.
8.4. Invoices generated through Bundus are operational documents based on your configuration. You are responsible for tax treatment and statutory wording in your jurisdiction.
8.5. Revenue, margin, ROI, and performance insights are estimates for operational decision-making, not audited financial statements.
9. Intellectual property#
9.1. The Platform, including software, design, documentation, trademarks, and templates we provide, is owned by or licensed to Bundus. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9.2. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use it without obligation to you.
9.3. Open-source or third-party components are subject to their own licences, which prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict for those components.
10. Third-party services#
10.1. The Services integrate with or rely on third-party services, including cloud hosting, Cloudflare, AWS, Stripe, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, ZeptoMail, PostHog (when analytics is enabled), and email or DNS providers.
10.2. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
10.3. Use of the Mobile App is subject to the applicable app store’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms.
11. Service availability and support#
11.1. We aim to provide reliable, secure Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, upgrades, and events outside our control may cause temporary unavailability.
11.2. Support is provided via hello@usebundus.com and in-product channels on a commercially reasonable efforts basis unless you have a separate support agreement.
11.3. We may impose reasonable usage limits (trial caps, media storage limits, API rate limits) as described on our pricing page or in-product.
12. Confidentiality#
12.1. Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other’s confidential information and use it only for purposes of the relationship, except as required by law.
12.2. Business Data you submit is treated as your confidential information, subject to our Privacy Policy and the licence in Section 6.
13. Warranties and disclaimers#
13.1. Each party warrants it has authority to enter into these Terms.
13.2. Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
13.3. We do not warrant that the Services will prevent all double-bookings, inventory errors, payment disputes, or business losses.
14. Limitation of liability#
14.1. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data (except as required by applicable data protection law), or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility.
14.2. Subject to Section 14.3, each party’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services in any twelve (12) month period shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the fees you paid to Bundus for the Services in that period; or (b) £100.
14.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law; or (d) your payment obligations or breach of Section 5 or Section 6.
14.4. The limitations in this Section 14 reflect the allocation of risk between the parties and are an essential basis of our agreement.
15. Indemnification#
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bundus and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your Business Data or Storefront content; (b) your products, services, or dealings with End Customers; (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) any dispute between you and an End Customer, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
16. Suspension and termination#
16.1. By you. You may stop using the Services at any time. Cancel your Subscription through the billing channel where you subscribed (Section 4.3). To close your Account entirely, follow Section 17.
16.2. By us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, pose a security risk, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure non-payment or curable breaches.
16.3. Effect of termination. On termination, your right to access the Services ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including Sections 6, 9, 13–15, 17–21) survive termination.
17. Account closure and data deletion#
17.1. To permanently delete your Account and request erasure of associated personal data, email hello@usebundus.com with subject line Account deletion request, or use Request account deletion in Settings → Security (web and mobile). Both options open your email app with a pre-filled message. Send the email to submit your request.
17.2. We will verify your identity and authority to close the Account. Only the business owner may request workspace deletion through the in-app options. If other administrators exist on the Business, we may require their confirmation.
17.3. Before deletion, you must cancel active Subscriptions through the channel where you subscribed (Stripe, Apple, or Google). We cannot cancel app-store billing on your behalf.
17.4. For a reasonable period after we confirm your request (typically 30 days, unless a shorter period is required by law or security policy), you may export Business Data where export tools are available.
17.5. After that period, we may delete or anonymise Business Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and backup retention schedules, except where we must retain data for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
17.6. Storefronts are unpublished when your Account is closed or your Subscription lapses without renewal, subject to any grace period we communicate.
Full details of the deletion process are in our Privacy Policy (Section 12).
18. Changes to these Terms#
18.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://usebundus.com/terms with a revised “Last updated” date.
18.2. For material changes affecting paid Subscribers, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
18.3. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel your Subscription before the effective date.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction#
19.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
19.2. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
19.3. If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you additional rights, those rights are not affected by this Section 19.
20. General#
20.1. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan description incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Services.
20.2. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
20.3. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
20.4. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
20.5. Neither party is liable for delay or failure due to events beyond reasonable control (force majeure).
20.6. We may send notices to your Account email or through the Services. You may send legal notices to hello@usebundus.com with Legal Notice in the subject line and to our registered office.
